This site has a strange name so let me explain how this came to be. First off, it is very hard to find a nice short relevant name for a website now since most are already registered. So you have to think “out of the box” as the business gurus suggest.
I spend alot of time in Japan where most Western words that end in “t” are pronounced “tow” because this is like one of the consonants used in the language. So while I was tring to come up with a credit card related name for this site I soon thought of “credito” which sounds normal in Japan. Then I just appended “cards” to this and was amazed to find that the domain name was available and here we are 
You could also think of it as maybe an Irish kind of name where people’s surnames are often including an “o” like Thomas O’mally the alley cat for example.
p.s. I bet you would be hard pressed to find something as interesting as the above in most “about” sections of a credit card site 
So, I hope my site doesn’t bore you to death and points you towards some great deals and gives you some food for thought when picking and using cards.
